How i got into the time share business part 9

Time share was different in those days. It was for pros only..seriously. About 20% were Vietnam vets who had credentials. About 20% were ex Hollywood types about 20% were foreigners, Hungary,Hong Kong, England. 20% were land sales and other professional types.
They all had character and lots of money from somewhere else. Although there are others a few
were legend. E.C. an older woman, they called her the dragon lady, long black wig, porno fingernails and drove a rolls royce, had an accent, and i didnt know much about her (she didnt buy jewelry from me) seems if clients got into her car for a stroll they were dead meat.
Brownie-- sherlock holmes look alike, his outfit was real and costs lots of money, even had the pipe, people were mesmerized by him. He was 75 and had a korean wife who was always lurking about making sure he didnt eat the wrong kim-chee, she wore traditional silk outfits. He left tons
of land and money to his alma matter. An Austrian gentleman, who left me with good advice.
He had about 20 pieces of property and homes worlwide- i often helped him expedite paperwork
regarding rentals, leases and so forth and introduced him to courier pilots-vat a gut iiidea it got dere in vun dai!!! He told me if i started travelling to buy land, dont think or worry just buy and move on, thats how he had so much property. And not in podunk either the titles were in far and exotic places. Some of these people did this to entertain themselves, they didnt really need the money, ive met reps down the road who said this and they are full of it. Not one of these people
ever said that. A hungarian no one liked was actually from the deposed kingdom and had unlimited funds from the family fortune. Quite a few of these evicted political refugees would take refuge in the most plush hotels in new york city and make it their residence for life, in fact
these hotels had clauses not to disclose the tenants or evict them if the hotel was sold. the plaza
was one of them. He was one of them. Most arrived from ww2 the rest from the cold war.
